As part of the Marketing Campaign, MoveMeAway.com is looking for talented individuals responsible for technical and creative work in the preparation of video projects.

An employee allocated to this position is responsible for operating computer-controlled video editing equipment in order to create video projects for public presentation. Work is performed with reasonable independence under the general guidance of the Marketing Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Discusses video project plans with the MoveMeAway Team, to determine the appropriate video content and editing.
  • Use of computer-controlled video editing systems.
  • Operate videotape recorders and computerized editing controllers.
  • Serve as a video editing consultant and troubleshooter.

Education and Experience

Graduation from an accredited college or university in an appropriate curriculum related to telecommunications or educational video production, and some experience in communications production work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Considerable knowledge of the methods, video equipment, personal computers, and techniques used in the video editing field.
  • Considerable knowledge of the uses, operations, and limitations of videotape editing systems and related equipment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas orally and in writing.
  • Ability to visualize production scripts and other verbal or written instructions.
  • Ability to effectively operate and maintain video editing systems and related equipment.
